Reverend P. A. Mingus
Senior Pastor
Rev. P.A. Mingus serves as our senior pastor. He grew up in Southern Michigan, lived in Colorado for two years while attending Bible College. He pastored the Alma and Kalamazoo Southside Churches on the Michigan District before arriving here in September of 1996. Pastor Mingus is an effective preacher and expositor of Scripture, applying the ancient truths and principles to current life applications.
He is married to Sherrlyn and is the father of five adult children
Pastor Mingus also serves as voluntary chaplain to Forest Park Health Campus for their Wednesday Worship and is an on-call Chaplain for Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, Inc.

Nancy Seal
NMI Missions President
Nancy Seal has faithfully served as Southview’s Missions President for 10 years. She is a life time resident of Richmond, Indiana. As mission leader, Nancy helps connect our local church with the global missions of the Church of the Nazarene. Nazarene Missions International continues to lead the way in global prayer, intergenerational disciple making, generous giving, and cross-cultural education. Nancy endeavors to envision new significance for missions and is an integral part of our local missions emphasis. She guides us as we move forward in praying, making disciples, giving, and educating. Her partnership is vital in God’s mission lived out through Southview Church of the Nazarene.

Sherrlyn Mingus is partnered in ministry with her husband, Rev. P.A. Mingus, and is dedicated to living by example. Her desire is that every boy and girl will come to know the amazing love of God, and to teach and equip them to live up to their full potential in Christ. She enjoys finding new and fun ways to teach, inspiring children to eagerly discover the truth in God’s Word. Her mission focus is to lovingly guide children, as she connects with parents, to help them develop a solid relationship with Jesus Christ.
Sherrlyn is the proud mother of five adult children, all of whom she home schooled: Justin, Timothy, Rachael, Luke & Faith. They have been her great joy and HER best “teachers” enabling her to reach others with humor, warmth, strength and transparency.

Jan Estes
Jan enjoys teaching the adult dialogue class where all are welcome to attend and "join in" the discussion of Old and New Testament scriptures, how Christ through us, and how we apply it all to our lives today as we endeavor to be examples of Christ.
Jan has one adult son, one adult step-daughter, and three wonderful granddaughters from ages four to twenty, and they all make her life complete.
Jan and her musically talented husband, Charlie, who is also known throughout the community for his musical gifts and shows, contribute to the church by bringing special music and singing for all to enjoy.
